Police Officer Assault, Ring Camera Theft Top Morrisville Crimes

MORRISVILLE, PA —A fight at Morrisville High School led to a police officer and teacher being assaulted. Meanwhile, police also handled a few burglaries and thefts, including three Ring cameras.

Those were some of the criminal incidents reported by the Morrisville Police Department in its blotter for the period of Aug. 29 to Sept. 18.

These are the criminal incidents:

Theft —Aug. 29, 1:20 p.m. Report of three Ring cameras stolen on North Pennsylvania Avenue. Value: $200.

Arrest/Receiving Stolen Property/Other Charges —Aug. 39, 2:49 p.m. A 50-year-old man was arrested for receiving stolen property, drug possession, and other related traffic offenses on South Delmorr Avenue. He was processed and released.

Burglary —Aug. 31, 1:12 a.m. Report of a Playstation 4 with controllers, games, and money stolen from an apartment on Plaza Boulevard. Value: $570.

Arrest/DUI/Other Charges —Sept. 1, 9:29 p.m. A 35-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence, drug possession, and endangering the welfare of a child for an incident that occurred in the LaVilla Restaurant parking lot. She was processed and released.

Arrest/DUI —Sept. 3, 9:55 p.m. A 31-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence after an accident on West Palmer Street. He was processed and released.

Arrest/Loitering and Prowling/Other Charges —Sept. 3/4. A female juvenile was arrested for loitering and prowling, disorderly conduct, trespassing and terroristic threats for several incidents throughout Morrisville. She was sent to the Juvenile Detention Center.

Theft from Motor Vehicle/Attempted Theft from Motor Vehicle —Sept. 5. Several motor vehicles were broken into overnight in the area of Clymer Avenue, Barclay Avenue, and Hillcrest Avenue.

Arrest/Warrant —Sept. 5, 1:40 p.m. Police assisted in the arrest of a 40-year-old man for a warrant from Leigh County Drug Task Force on North Lafayette Avenue. He was processed and sent to Bucks County Prison.

Arrest/Warrant —Sept. 5, 8:28 p.m. A 29-year-old was taken into custody for a warrant from Middletown Township Police Department during a traffic stop on East Bridge Street. He was released to the Middletown Police Department.

Arrest/Warrant —Sept. 6, 2:45 p.m. A 50-year-old woman was arrested at Middletown District Court for a warrant from this department for receiving stolen property on Aug. 3. She was processed and released.

Arrest/Weapons Possession —Sept. 7, 8:44 a.m. A male juvenile will be charged with weapons Possession for an incident that occurred at the Morrisville High School.

Burglary —Sept. 8, 2:12 a.m. Report of an iPad stolen from the AT&T store overnight on East Trenton Avenue. Value: $500.

Arrest/Theft/Receiving Stolen Property/Resisting Arrest/Trespassing —Sept. 10, 4:55 p.m. and 8:07 p.m. A 29-year-old was arrested for theft and other charges for incidents that occurred on Franklin Street and Harper Avenue. He was processed and sent to Bucks County Prison.

Arrest/Criminal Mischief —Sept. 10, 1:44 p.m. A female juvenile will be charged with criminal mischief for an incident that occurred on Center Street.

Arrest/Public Drunkenness —Sept. 11, 3:19 a.m. A 28-year-old woman was cited for Public Drunkenness for an incident that occurred on Harrison Avenue.

Arrest/Warrant —Sept. 11, 11:58 a.m. A 54-year-old man was arrested for a warrant from Hamilton Township Police after a wellness check on East Bridge Street. He was processed and sent to Bucks County Prison.

Arrest/Harassment —Sept. 11, 1:41 p.m. A 65-year-old woman was cited for harassment for an incident on North Pennsylvania Avenue.

Arrest/Drug Possession —Sept. 12, 12:39 p.m. A 38-year-old man was arrested for drug possession during a traffic stop on West Bridge Street and Francis Avenue. He was processed and released.

Arrest/Disorderly Conduct —Sept. 13, 8:18 a.m. Two male juveniles will be charged with disorderly conduct for a fight that occurred at the Morrisville High School. In addition, one of the male juveniles will also be charged with resisting arrest and an assault on a police officer, assault on a teacher, and other charges.

Arrest/Warrant —A 63-year-old man was arrested for a Bucks County Sheriff’s warrant following an incident at Giant Grocery Store on West Trenton Avenue. He was released to the Bucks County Sheriffs.

Arrest/Harassment —Sept. 13, 7:29 p.m. A 45-year-old man was cited for harassment after a domestic incident on Plaza Boulevard.

Arrest/DUI —Sept. 14, 4:27 a.m. A 46-year-old man was arrested for Driving Under the Influence after an incident on Grandview Avenue. He was processed and released.

Arrest/Warrant —Sept. 12, 12:57 a.m. On Aug. 17, a 37-year-old man fled and eluded Morrisville Police into New Jersey where he was arrested by Trenton Police. On Sept. 12, he was transported from Mercer County Prison by Bucks County Sheriffs to headquarters where he was processed and released.
