Murder, arson, gang assault among crimes charged in August indictments

The Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office has released 45 indictments for the month of August.

Crimes charged included second-degree murder, arson, gang assault, drug and weapons charges, among others.

Nasir Alrobyai, 16; Jeffrey Felton, 16 and Myquise Williams, 19; all of Syracuse, were charged with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon (2 counts). Alexander Galan, 30, of 233 Grand Ave., Syracuse, was charged with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Johnny Carrasquillo, 51, of Syracuse, was charged with attempted second-degree arson, first-degree criminal contempt (6 counts), second-degree aggravated harassment (3 counts), fourth-degree criminal mischief (2 counts), second-degree criminal contempt, resisting arrest, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and aggravated family offense (5 counts). Jaynesha Hill, 24, of 316 Oak St., #11, Liverpool, was charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (2 counts), fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (3 counts), seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (4 counts) and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia (3 counts).
